Agenda Item Details: Presentation of Bill Ewing Memorial Music Scholarship to Jaycie Richards

Jaycie Richards was a six-year member of our band program. She performed in just about every ensemble CJHS and CHS had to offer, including 7th Grade Band, 8th Grade Band, Concert Band, Wind Symphony, Marching Band, Jazz Band, and Pep Band. She received numerous awards at the District and State levels for clarinet solos and ensembles. In 2016 and 2017, she was selected to the Southeast Missouri All-District HS Band - first chair clarinet player in 2017. She plans to pursue a music degree at Southeast Missouri State University in Fall 2018 and study under Dr. Gabrielle Baffoni, Associate Professor of Single Reeds.
